Little Japan

Had a really nice dinner catch up with a dear friend last Friday. Took us nearly an hour and half to decide what to eat here in Auckland City. Thought we'd give those places with an Entertainment book voucher a try, but turns out not quite what we'd expected.

So after walking up and down the streets of Auckland city, we decided to go to this quaint little Japanese restaurant, Niwa. Stood outside the restaurant staring at the menu, and spent another 20minutes decided what to eat there.

O.o"

Pictures of the food to follow. We'd ended ordering quite a lot of food for us two girls. Guess we were really hungry. =P

Sukiyaki Pot combo, that came with lots of beef, nice soup, raw egg, bowl of rice, bowl of udon noodles, bowl of salad.

Karaage~ Really nice deep fried chicken with cornflakes (or similar). Taste was good, but could've been better without the tomato sauce

Rainbow Bento, that comes with tempura, sashimi, teriyaki chicken, bowl of rice

Adegeshi Tofu (forgot exact name) with moving shaved fish, came with each of our meals.

(It was the Chawanmushi that attracted us to order the meals, but they ran out, so they gave us tofu instead....)

Hot Sake, how can we not have something to go with the nice food.

Good dinner
^^
